Happy Rainbow Day

Rainbow at the end of the Dyke March 2009
This rainbow appeared at the end of the Dyke March yesterday. Pretty damn awesome.

Thanks to Sinclair Sexsmith, there really is such a list as Top Hot Butches.

I was the editor and wrote many of the entries for GO Magazaine’s 100 Women We Love Class of 2009. Thanks to Kim, Kathleen and Corina for their writing and GO for the opportunity.
I’m reading at Blaise K’s awesome How I Learned Reading Series. The theme is HOW I LEARNED THE HARD WAY. I will probably read about becoming sober, although I may read about sex. Or both, since they seem to be two of my top themes.

THE SERIES
How I Learned is a brand new monthly reading series featuring a mix of writers, comedians, bloggers and performers as chosen by hostess Blaise Allysen Kearsley based primarily on personal hygiene and make-out prowess. Offering fact, fiction, and everything in between, How I Learned strives to share invaluable life lessons against a dimly lit, self-indulgent, sexually tense and booze fueled backdrop. It’s education that works.
This is from my friend Virginia Vitzthum. Details Below.

Hi everyone: I’m trolling again, for a book of funny, bizarre blind date stories. Tales with happy endings are welcome, but let’s face it, terrible dates usually make better stories. I’d especially like stories of dates set up by mutual friends, family or matchmaker, though great online-dating stories are welcome, too. They can be short or long, however long it takes. (I’m guessing these will be stories you’ve told before.) I will change names and details to disguise you, and I will edit the writing, so don’t worry about polishing it. If you’d rather tell me the story over the phone than e-mail it, that’s fine too. Please forward this widely.
Thank you so much, Virginia Vitzthum virgvitz@verizon.net
